Fog and frost clearing to sunny spells today. Rain later.

Patches of fog and frost will clear to leave a dry morning on Monday with sunny spells. However, cloud will increase from the west this afternoon with patchy rain developing, chiefly across Devon and Cornwall. Turning windy too. Maximum Temperature 12C.

Monday night will be cloudy and windy with patchy rain, chiefly in the west. Rain turning heavier and more persistent later. Gales, perhaps severe in the west, although staying mild. Minimum Temperature 8C.

Wet weather will move east across the region on Tuesday, accompanied by gales initially. However, brighter, more showery conditions are likely in the west later and winds will gradually ease. Maximum Temperature 11C.

Outlook for Wednesday to Friday:
Sunshine and showers are likely on Wednesday and Thursday, accompanied by blustery winds at times. Changeable on Friday with some sunshine, although perhaps rain early on and again later.
